In the evening’s presentation of the film, Mackie will share how the film’s costume design served as an inspiration to his own career.
About the film
Gene Kelly stars as an American GI trying to succeed as a painter in Paris. His happy lifestyle is shaken when he must deal with the effects of two new women in his life: a wealthy art patroness (Nina Floch) and a French shop girl (Leslie Caron) who is engaged to another man.
