Art Alive in the Galleries

Sat, Sep 25, 2021

Join us for Art Alive, an intergenerational drop-in gallery visit and art-making experience inspired by MAD's current exhibitions. This Saturday, artist-educator Alayna Wiley will be in 45 Stories in Jewelry: 1947 to Now leading a focused discussion of Art Smith's Neckpiece (1948) and art activities using sustainable and recycled materials.

Art Alive is free with Museum admission. Discussions and activities are ongoing, so visitors can join at any time between 12 and 2 pm and stay as long as they like. The program is offered in accordance with the Museum’s safe social-distancing practices.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
