AIGA NY: Somewhere Good, Safe Spaces and Third Places

Thu, Mar 2 / 6:30 pm

Join MAD Museum and AIGA NY for an interactive conversation with Naj Austin, the founder and CEO of Somewhere Good, a platform built to disrupt and redefine community-building. Austin is a serial entrepreneur working at the intersection of technology, well-being, and community who brings a care-centered and identity-driven perspective to her work. Sharing her vision for helping people connect with themselves and their neighbors, Austin will offer reflections and encouragement for how we can have better conversations with one another, create shared rituals, and address loneliness—online and IRL.

Co-presented with the Museum of Arts and Design, this program is part of AIGA NY’s Fresh Dialogue event series focusing on current events, issues of cultural relevance, and emerging topics in the design world.

Doors open at 6:00 pm.
