Some Cleaning is a choreographic service by Adam Linder. The Museum of Arts and Design has contracted Linder to choreographically clean the interior of its exhibition NYC Makers: The MAD Biennial, during its final weeks on view. This service, which is based on a fixed hourly rate, is provided in response to a tendency for performing bodies to supplement more lucrative commodities in today's cultural spheres. Instead, MAD is facilitating choreographic activity to be at work purely for the agreed-upon terms.
