Gathering 100 filmmakers from across the nation, 99%: The Occupy Wall Street Collaborative Film takes a unique approach in attempting to capture a moment in recent American history when new forms of activism began to emerge and the term “occupy” entered the popular lexicon.
Drawing from an open call for footage, this documentary weaves together footage from over twenty cities, including New York City’s Zuccotti Park, to reveal the various factors behind this movement and the multitude of perspectives that emerged from it.
