For the 2010 exhibition Dead or Alive, Jennifer Angus created a commissioned site-specific installation from thousands of dried insects pinned to mimic vintage wallpaper. Harnessing the expressive power of pattern and ornament, Angus's installations blur the distinction between decoration and expression, and between domestic comforts and disturbance. In this video, Angus discusses her love of the beauty and biodiversity of the insect world and how her works are statements in support of protecting insects' habitats.
