On Monday, May 16, 2011, the Museum of Arts and Design celebrates the third annual young patrons gala at 2 Columbus Circle, this year called The FLUORESCENTBALL. With a Host Committee that reads like a who’s who of the downtown art, design and social scenes, MAD welcomes a new generation of both artists and patrons to support the Museum’s acclaimed Children’s Education Programs for an evening of fun, art and dancing. Co-chaired by Waris Ahluwalia, Tyson Beckford, Karim Rashid and Milk Studio’s Mazdack Rassi, The FLUORESCENTBALL will showcase a one night only art sale of works by the contributing artists inspired all things that 'glow'.
