Of Rare Origin Truck-Show

Of Rare Origin will be joining MAD About Jewelry 2021 for a Truck Show in the Museum’s Lobby during the Opening Benefit Preview on Monday, December 6, and the first two days of the MAD About Jewelry sale.  Come check it out!

Tired of working from home, Covid-19 motivated the Of Rare Origin team to design a safe and memorable retail experience. Inspired by the intimate piazzas in the Italian towns where their jewelry is made, they reimagined a landscape trailer into an extraordinary mobile environment. It’s part boutique, part boudoir, and part bar—it’s the Of Rare Origin Truck-Show! Beyond discovering their classic pieces and latest creations, guests are invited to linger for a Spritz, write a postcard, or even pick up a souvenir. The Truck-Show debuted in December 2020, with stops in Charleston, Birmingham, Memphis, New Orleans, Atlanta, and Charlotte.

Of Rare Origin inspires stories, smiles and memories. A passion project founded by a mother (Leslie Tcheyan) and her two daughters (Octavia Giovannini-Torelli and Thea Giovannini-Torelli) with diverse creative backgrounds, Of Rare Origin creates moments of whimsical reverie that provoke a second look. Whether it’s unique jewelry, handmade in collaboration with master artisans in Italy, or a landscape trailer they’ve transformed into a fantastical, travelling pop-up experience, their treasures are infused with their infallible playful spirit. Expect color, joy and adventure, and something truly “rare and original.”
