Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) provides skills, resources and information to New York City school teachers so that they are better equipped to educate students in the arts.

It is our hope that MAD’s rich resources encourage new perspectives and potentials through the incorporation of contemporary art, craft and design in the general curriculum.

Teacher Resource Packets

MAD Teacher Resource Packets provide educators with specially designed lesson plans focusing on a range of topics. Packets are broad enough to use with multiple grade levels and give students key information on artworks and artists from current and previous exhibitions and our permanent collection.
