In their jewelry collaboration, Switzerland-based designers CamilleJacquemin and Jean Daraspe create pieces inspired by nature. Jacquemin, who studied applied arts and trained in chiseling and silversmithing, makes jewelry that reflects her gentleness and joy: the “Sakura” collection delicately evokes petals, flowers, and cherry tree leaves, capturing the essence of her recent trip to Japan. Daraspe, a professional biologist and son of the celebrated French silversmith Roland Daraspe, showcases his precision and meticulousness through his jewelry, as seen in the “Mytilidae” necklace. Their creations play with subtle combinations of materials and textures, revealing a particular affinity for color. Much of their work incorporates Murano glass beads, fabricated by Camille Jacquemin.
