This Election Day, join MAD’s Education department for a teacher workshop celebrating the art and activism of genre-defying artist Matthew Flower, better known as Machine Dazzle. Our program begins with a curator-guided tour of the exhibition Queer Maximalism x Machine Dazzle, which brings together nearly 100 of the artist’s creations for stage, spectacles, and street theater. Next, educators will participate in an art-making workshop led by a MAD artist educator on creating maximalist wall hangings for their classroom. Coffee and morning refreshments will be provided.

New York State Educators will earn 4 CTLE hours.
