Family Studio: Risograph Printing

Sun, Oct 1 / 10:30 am–12 pm

In this family workshop for children ages five and up and their caregivers led by MAD Artist Studios resident Jacquelyn Strycker, families will learn how to use risograph printing techniques to craft a collaborative zine publication. The risograph printing process employs the convenience of an office copier to create its distinctive textural appearance and bright colors, making it a popular art form for zines and posters. Families will get hands-on experience with risograph printing, learn more about the practice, and explore its vibrant printing possibilities.

Family Studio is a collaborative workshop for children and their caregivers to learn, explore, and create together. Admission for children is free and children must be attended by a caregiver. Tickets for adults are required and include admission to the Museum. Space is limited.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
