Fabiana Gadano
Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Fabiana Gadano has been designing, handcrafting and teaching contemporary jewelry for the last twenty years.
After her early years of Fine Arts and Industrial Design studies, she focused her interest on contemporary jewelry design, attending workshops and specialized seminars. Her latest research on recycling non-biodegradable waste, such as PET plastic from discarded bottles and its subsequent application in contemporary jewelry has aroused great interest. Her collection was awarded the 1st Acquisition Prize in 2012 at La Capital Newspaper Foundation, Rosario, Argentina.
Gadano has been selected to participate in many collective exhibitions in her own country and abroad such as Cominelli Prize, Italy (2014) and itinerant European exhibitions Beyond textile (2014) and Sex, Drugs and Rock’n Roll (2012).
Her works have been published since 2005 in international editions including Eclat. Masters of New Jewellery Design (2014) Promopress, Spain; I Love You, Design Jewelry and Accessories (2014) Designersbooks, China and 500 Silver Jewelry Designs (2011) Lark Books, USA.
