Painted Fanciful Narrative Clay Plates

A Studio Sunday workshop with artist Syma

Sun, May 8 / 2 pm

Inspired by the pottery in The Global Africa Project, participants will use air dry clay set into paper plates as their 'canvas' to paint their stories with bright tempera paint. Decorative patterned borders and sculpted imaginary creatures can be added to the non-functional clay plates.

Drop in allowed, registration is encouraged, and programs start promptly at 2:00 pm.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
