Summer Streets 2018

Sat, Aug 18, 2018

MAD is pleased to participate in Summer Streets, the New York City Department of Transportation’s annual initiative that opens miles of city streets to fun, family-friendly and free activities in a traffic-free environment.  Join MAD artist educators on August 18 at the DOT Arts and Cultural Hub at Rudin Plaza (51st St. and Park Ave) to create colorful fabric and paper flags inspired by current exhibitions Surface/Depth: The Decorative After Miriam Shapiro and Tanya Aguiñiga: Craft and Care.

For more information about Summer Streets, including a route map and street closure information, please visit www.nyc.gov/dot or www.nyc.gov/summerstreets.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
