The Museum is closed temporarily. The Store at MAD is open online.

Dear MAD Community,

With the health and well-being of visitors, staff, volunteers, and our great city top of mind, the Museum and The Store at MAD are closed temporarily. This proactive measure reflects our commitment to adhere to the recommended city, state, and federal guidelines for minimizing the impact of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus). All programming at MAD will be canceled or postponed until further notice. Anyone who has purchased admission or programming tickets will be contacted for refunds. Unfortunately, this means we must also postpone our opening of Brian Clarke: The Art of Light scheduled for March 21.

During this time, the Museum will continue its enhanced cleaning procedures, postponement of all Museum-related travel, and remote working arrangements to support New York City’s efforts to contain the virus. We will also update our website and social media channels as the situation continues to unfold. Please follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest news, as well as to enjoy online content to keep you connected to our collection, exhibitions, and educational programming.

In gratitude for our Members’ generous support during this challenging time, we are automatically extending all memberships by one month.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back to MAD.
