Join artist educators Natalia Nakazawa and Monique Schubert for this hands-on and engaging party-themed workshop! Draw connections to artworks featured in the NYC Makers: The MAD Biennial, such as the glitter party decorations created by Confetti System, and the immersive, nightclub environment by Rafael de Cárdenas. Roll up your sleeves and dive into the act of making while listening to a selection of music inspired by the exhibition. Kids of all ages will enjoy crafting paper flowers and party favors that will give their next soirée a hand-made, creative flair.

At MAD, our goal is to make everyone feel comfortable and enthusiastic about the opportunity to learn through their hands. We work to deliver a sensory-rich intergenerational experience for families to enjoy the museum together. This program is suitable for children ages 6 and up.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
