Print as Collaborative Performance

Sat, Sep 26 / 12–6 pm

Rethink traditional approaches to printmaking in this daylong demonstration and workshop that explores screen printing as a collaborative and performative act.  Visitors are invited to pull their own screens, speak with artists and designers working with the medium, and to help create an installation of screen prints.

Operating on the philosophy of “say yes to the possibility of what things may come”, MAD turns over their education floor to the design studio Solidarity of Unbridled Labour and the experimental Iskra Print Collective, led by graphic design giant Michael Jager, along with Eli Jager, Jackson Tupper, and John Siddle.

Please review our health and safety protocols before you arrive. MAD strongly recommends all visitors six months and older are vaccinated against Covid-19 and visitors ages two and up wear face coverings, even if vaccinated. Thank you for your cooperation.
