Museum Hours
MAD is open from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. On Thursday and Friday, the Museum is open until 9:00 pm
Docent Tours
There are docent tours daily at 11:30 am and 3:00 pm, as well as 6:30 pm on Thursday evenings. Docent tours are free with admission and meet in the lobby.
Open Studios
The Open Studios are open daily from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm, as well as 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Thursdays and Fridays.

The workshop begins with a gallery tour, with art educator Reuben King leading an exciting inquiry-based discussion of the MAD exhibition Swept Away: Dust, Ashes, and Dirt in Contemporary Art and Design, which highlights works that deal with issues such as the ephemeral nature of art and life. Children and adults alike will be fascinated by how these artists explore materials and processes.
