Artists Wanted for Open Studios Program at 2 Columbus Circle

The Education Department is seeking several experienced artists for demonstration art making studios in the Museum’s new home at 2 Columbus Circle beginning in the fall of 2008. Successful candidates will have extensive background working predominately in three-dimensional materials and processes, utilizing one or more of the craft mediums – clay, cold work glass, wood, fiber or metal. The studios are open for the public to interact informally with the artist during regular museum hours. Teaching experience is a plus. The positions are temporary adjunct part-time (with chance for extension) and the sessions are scheduled Tuesday through Sunday – mornings, afternoons plus one evening per week.
