MAD in your classroom

MAD in Your Classroom is a three-part arts and design education program comprised of instruction by visiting museum educators in your classroom including a visit to MAD.

MAD in Your Classroom focuses on art materials and processes and is tailored to the individual needs of the class and teacher. An initial meeting between museum educators and the classroom teacher will determine program content and length and concentrate on developing connections between age-appropriate curricula and art.

By planning and making original works of art, students will learn how to handle materials, about the process of creation, and also gain valuable experience in critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork.

The cost is $500 per class per 3-session program and includes all materials and admission to the Museum. Maximum of 35 students per class. One chaperone per 10 students must accompany class on Museum field trip.
